Abstract

This paper establishes a comprehensive strategic framework linking employee resilience to organizational sustainability within the highly volatile Nigerian macro-environmental landscape. Navigating structural shifts, currency fluctuations, and infrastructure deficits requires a dual-capacity approach combining individual psychological capital with structural organizational agility. Grounded in Conservation of Resources (COR) Theory and Dynamic Capabilities Theory, this study proposes an advanced structural equation model (SEM) incorporating specific industry control variables—such as sector-specific capital intensity, regulatory compliance burdens, and digital maturity—to refine quantitative predictability. The literature review synthesizes empirical African studies with global cross-cultural team dynamics, highlighting how collective resilience mitigates macro shocks. Expanding beyond traditional frameworks, the methodology elaborates on a robust, mixed-methods explanatory sequential design. The paper concludes with precise theoretical contributions to emerging-market strategic management and outlines actionable, data-driven frameworks for corporate sustainability.
