Enhancing Learning Efficiency through ICT Integration: A Study of Private Universities in Kenya

Abstract

This paper explores the impact of ICT integration on learning efficiency within private universities in Kenya. It investigates how digital tools, platforms, and infrastructure enhance teaching methodologies, student engagement, and academic outcomes. Using a mixed-methods approach involving surveys and interviews with faculty, students, and administrators, the study highlights the benefits and challenges of ICT adoption in higher education. Findings reveal that effective ICT use improves access to information, supports interactive learning, and fosters academic flexibility. However, gaps in digital literacy and infrastructure remain key obstacles. The study concludes by recommending policy support, capacity building, and sustainable investments in ICT to strengthen learning efficiency and align with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
